Sweet Blessings!

Today was a wonderful day! It was the day of my daughter Natalie's 28th week baby scan She had a 3D scan and it was confirmed for sure that she is having a baby boy! Natalie and James are so excited and looking so forward to welcoming their little baby boy into the world!

I enjoyed an afternoon spent in the park. So sunny and warm and it was wonderful to just sit and relax on the park bench. Children were playing cricket and tennis. Not a cloud in the sky and I could see aeroplanes flying so I guess the Volcanic Ash problem is solved. I am sure those stranded passengers are so thankful. I imagine they are so weary and frustrated.

Some quotes for today:

"A baby is born with a need to be loved and never outgrows this."
                                Frank Clark

"Ten tiny little fingers that always want to play,
That never stop exploring the wonder of today,
Ten tiny little fingers that from the very start
Will reach out for tomorrow yet always hold your heart."

I would also like to include a scan photo of my precious little grand baby due in July. Also some lovely photos taken in a park in Oxford about a month ago-loved the flowers! And a photo of Natalie and me.

  3. Congratulations Linda and to your daughter, I think it's exciting to find out the sex of the baby then you can start oohing and ahhhing over the pinks or the blues, in this case the blues for you:) My sister is still stuck in Turkey! Don't know when she'll get a flight out, she was supposed to fly to Newcastle on Monday!

  5. Hi Linda,
Congrats on your new little grandson, when is he due to arrive?

Lovely pictures of the park. I lived in England for three years in the Yorkshire Dales and I really miss the parks there. They were always so pretty and elegant. I don't think parks in the US for the most part even compare. Something about the quaintness of the park in the UK. That is something money can't buy no matter how beautiful they are here. Anyway, didn't mean to get off on a tanget, but I do love your parks.

Hope you have a great weekend.
    Hugs,
    Cindy
