Grateful List

Today I was remembering how inspired I am by a friend who will be posting her "Grateful List" each Friday. So many blogger friends post their thankful lists and I have decided that I too will post each Friday on this. I will take one thing from each day and share what I was thankful for over the week. I also love her idea of keeping a journal by the bed and jotting down all the things I am so grateful for each and every day. Often I wake and reflect on so many things and I will make sure I pen  these thoughts. Thank you Judy for your inspiration.

So for Monday I was grateful I did go into work even though I felt so unwell. I knew if I called in, as this was a medication changeover day, it would be very hard for someone who would not be familiar with all the medication. I was thankful I made it through the shift.

Tuesday I was thankful I could rest and keep warm and feel better.

Wednesday I was thankful for the beautiful sunshine streaming through my window. God is good.

Thursday I was thankful I was feeling better and could enjoy time with Michael. The Lord has blessed me beyond measure by bringing this sweet guy into my life.

Friday I was thankful for time with family. Family are so important to me. Precious moments and precious memories.

Saturday again feeling unwell and my sinus's blocked and feeling not good but grateful that I  have a house where I can rest and relax. God is a wonderful provider!

Sunday resting and relaxing and praying I will soon be well. Grateful that I have a Heavenly Father who cares for me and is ever faithful.

I hope you have enjoyed these photos of my family. I have so many and my photo collection runs into thousands. I always have the camera at the ready and I love to take photos of the beauty all around me. God's canvas is wonderful!!

  3. Loved the photos of your family; I love almost any photo display! My late husband always told me it was because I was just plain nosy! LOL! I'd like to think that isn't true, but unfortunately, I find I am often nosy! Don't ya hate it when they're so stinkin right?! LOL! What a wonderful thing to set aside time to be consciously aware of all your blessings. I know, in my own life, I have more to be thankful for every day that I live. Enjoyed your post, Linda. Have a blessed day!

  9. Linda, I just left a long, long comment, & it wouldn't let me post it. :( So frustrating! I am so gad to see you back here, & I hope you make it a daily thing again. As you can see by the comments, you are missed!

I'm so thankful for you, & thankful that I inspired you to join in on posting our blessings once a week. We have so much to thank God for! So I'm very happy you have decided to do this Linda.

I love your gratitude list & of course I loved the photos! You are truly blessed, but I know you are keenly aware of this. Love you Linda! Hugs!

  10. How inspiring!! I love the idea of a bedside gratitude journal. Might take you up on that idea. We are so often reminded of life's miseries and failures.. we have to work hard to keep the good stuff in our hearts too.
    Thanks for the encouragement. xx
