Today I would like to share a devotional I have read by Roy Lessin. This is from Ephesians and I really enjoyed this and the wise words for situations we all will meet.
For the weak there is strength:
Finally:my brethren,be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Ephesians 6:10
For the wobbly there is stability
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,and having done all,to stay. Ephesians 6:13
For the worried there is peace.
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Ephesians 6:15
For the wounded there is protection.
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. Ephesians 6:16
For the warrior there is a weapon.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. Ephesians 6:17-18
And sharing some photos of a recent trip to the Isle Of Wight:
Very encouraging words from the Word.
ReplyDeleteLoved the pictures too. I recall a line
from the Beatles song "When I'm Sixty-
four" about renting a cottage on the
Isle of Wight. What a lovely place!
