Thankful

Today I was remembering that it is a year today since I had my major GYN surgery. I cannot believe that a year has passed this quickly!! Where did the time go?

I am thinking of how God has blessed me. I am remembering all the times I called out to Him in prayer and how I waited for Him to respond. So many others prayed with me too.God hasn't always answered my prayers in the way I thought that he should. But God sees our situation much better than we do. We see just a small piece but God has the whole picture in His vision.

What I have learnt through my troubles and most painful times is to always be thankful. In hard times,in painful times,in valley times and in all times!! God is in control and He has a purpose. How I have seen His handiwork particulary over the past 18 months. So many wonderful blessings He has showered on me. God has provided  for all my needs.

The aspect I remember the most and thank Him every day for is that He delivered me and answered all the prayers and that my histology was benign instead of the diagnosis the doctors thought I had!

Thank Him always in everything-no matter what the circumstances are. He is always beside you.

And a bible verse I love - In everything give thanks;for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1Thessalonians 5:23

I would like to share more photos of the gardens on a trip to Bournemouth:

  4. Linda beautiful photos, PTL you didn't have what the doctors thought you had. How do you like your healthcare in the UK? I am not looking forward to the change we have coming or hopefully NOT.
Thank God his hand was upon you, you are truly blessed. My mom survived breast cancer and my son had cancer two years ago. Both are doing well. God is good.Big hugs

  5. Hi Linda! I am finally making time to visit my blog friends! My husband and I were just talking last night about how God sees things so much better than we do and is loving and wise enough not to give us what we think we need! Mike has been out of work for almost a year and if we had our way he would still have that same job he'd had for 35 years, but his health would not be as good as it is now (breathing dirty air) and he would not have gotten his GED. So we are thankful he lost his job even though the future is a little scary without it! :) HUGS my dear friend!

  10. I've been in your shoes a few times. What a relief to find out that tests are negative. It changes who we are afterwards. You dont tend to take life for granted. I love your pictures with the beautiful purple flowers.

  11. What a wonderful testimony of God's goodness and faithfulness. How blessed we are to be able to share answered prayers with one another like this!! And how blessed we are to have a God who delights in the prayers of His children.
    Hugs to you
    Dorothy :)
